Convoy Wrap Up!

9 February 2015

And that's a wrap folks! Convoy was yet again a very successful event. Thank you to all that made it possible and gave so generously!

Convoy Wrap Up!

Convoy 2015 raised a whopping $236,708 for The Cancer Support Group. Scotty and Nige’s Show Bag was a major contributor  to this total, raising $46,000 in one day at the ActewAGL Canberra Show.

"Lets just say it was a crazy day, it was awesome to see so many businesses and people getting behind such a great cause”, – Scotty, 104.7FM

The Support ‘a’ Truck was a show stopper on the day and came in a close second, raising $30,000 towards the Convoy total. Joel Stewart from TJS, who organised the truck said it was a ripper day and is keen to get back on the fundraising train for the 2016 Convoy.

Hats off to the biker community for raising $12,500 at our first lead bike auction. We would particularly like to thank Nathan from Gerald Slaven Holden for contributing $4,000. Gungahlin Concrete, Let it Glow Concrete, John Ficovic, Nige (104.7) and The Canberra Scooter Club all pitched in and followed Nathan to lead the Convoy for 2015.

Once again, the trucking community really got behind the Convoy. Holcim concrete took out the lead position with a bid of $12,500. Elvin Group closely followed with a bid of $12,000. Thanks to Multi-Crete, SES, Canberra Milk, Innaimo Transport, D Group, Boss Haulage and Lopilato Bros for their generous contributions.
