End of Financial Year Donations
It is that time of year again. Businesses and individuals are looking to donate to their favourite charities as an effective way to reduce your taxible income.
Why donate to The Cancer Support Group?
- With only three staff members and over 950 registered patients; the Group is small but our impact is huge. Limiting administrative staff means we are able to give 100% of donations and proceeds from functions back to our patients. The ACT Government provide funding for 3 full time staff members and our administrative budget is supplemented from the rent of a four bedroom apartment located above the office.
- The money stays in the local community. We financially support cancer patients in the ACT and surrounding areas, so you are helping people that you could know who are going through some of the toughest times of their life.
Once off donation options:
- The Convoy Support 'a' Truck: you get a bit more bang for your buck with this option. You have the opportunity to gain advertising for 12 months by donating through our Convoy Support 'a' Truck.
